One of this season’s biggest trends is art deco, a style that, according to our ever handy Wikipedia, originated in Paris in the 1920s. The style is predominantly recognized by its creative use of geometry and architecture. Lines intersect each other every which way to create interesting patterns.

All the dizzying lines can be a tad too much for most people (confession: some of us here aren’t brave enough to pull off these runway looks). Thank goodness – accessories to the rescue! Accessories are a more subtle, but still fashion forward, way to adopt the trend.
